How it works
- 1Upload the PDF — trim, bleed and size are read from the file.
- 2Pick the sheet, the roll or the box style, and check the plan: up-count, waste, creep or panels.
- 3Download the print-ready file for the press, the RIP or the cutter.
Nine prepress tools for the jobs you run every day
From the business-card sheet to the billboard on the roll, each tool does a whole job: upload, choose, done.
Step-and-repeat imposition
Step-and-repeat imposition for business cards, flyers and labels on SRA3, A3 and 12 × 18 in sheets: each page on its own sheets, fitting to a set size, duplex from one or two files, marks in the margins.
Step and repeat impositionBooklet imposition
Saddle-stitch and perfect-bound booklet imposition for digital duplex or offset presses, with creep, sections, spine width and fold marks.
Booklet imposition softwareNumbering
Cut-and-stack sequential numbering for receipt books, NCR sets, raffle tickets and vouchers, with prefixes, padding, Code 128 and QR codes.

Variable data printing softwareTiling
Large-format tiling that splits banners, billboards and wallpaper into panels for 127 cm or 152 cm material with flaps, overlaps and a panel map.

Real size by default
The artwork decides the size and the sheet decides how many fit. Nothing is scaled unless you ask: then fit, fill or force it to the size you set.
See the plan first
Up-count, sheets, waste, creep and panels are shown before a byte of PDF is written, so mistakes are caught on screen, not on the press.
Files stay with you
Every tool runs in your browser. Customer PDFs are never uploaded; only your account and licence live on our servers.
Pay the way you pay

An online alternative to Preps, InDesign and Acrobat for everyday jobs
Production suites such as Kodak Prinergy and Preps, Fiery Impose, Enfocus PitStop and HP SmartStream Designer run whole plants. Most digital print shops need the everyday part of them, done right, without a server or a per-seat licence.

| Saddle-stitch and perfect-bound booklets | Acrobat booklet print, Preps | Booklet imposition |

Questions about PrintFiles
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes. A new account gets 7 days of all nine tools free, with no payment details needed. One free trial per person, computer and network; when it ends, choose a plan to keep going.
- What is imposition software?
- Imposition software arranges pages or items on the press sheet so they print, fold and cut correctly: business cards ganged on SRA3, booklet pages in folding order, numbered tickets in cut-and-stack order. PrintFiles does it in the browser, at real size.
- Is it an alternative to Kodak Preps, Fiery Impose or Acrobat?
- For the everyday work of a digital print shop, yes: step and repeat, gang runs, booklets, numbering, variable data, tiling, dielines and preflight. It is not a RIP and does no colour management or JDF; production servers still do that.
- Where do my files go?
- Nowhere. Every tool runs in your browser; the PDF never leaves your computer. Your account and licence live on our server.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. It runs in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox on Windows, Mac or Linux, and on tablets and phones for checking jobs.
- How do I pay?
- By M-Pesa (an STK prompt on your phone) or by card through Paystack, monthly or yearly. Kenya is priced in shillings; elsewhere the dollar price is charged in shillings at the day’s rate. Nothing renews automatically.
- Can my staff share one login?
- One account works on one computer at a time. Signing in on a second computer signs the first one out; ask us for more seats.
